The Society
General Information

The International Society of Bionic Engineering (ISBE) is an educational, non-profit, non-political organization formed in 2010 to foster the exchange of information on bionic engineering research, development and application.

Founder Countries

The Society is launched by fifteen countries include China, The United Kingdom, Germany, The United States of America, Russia, Canada, Japan, South Korea, India, Thailand, Austria, Romania, The Netherlands, Belgium, and Brazil.

Mission Statement

The Society is dedicated to the advancement of communication and cooperation among all scholars, and the furtherance of knowledge and education in the field of bionic engineering.

Society Main Activities

  • Organizing and developing international science communication and collaborations in bionic engineering, encourages science, and promotes the international development of bionic engineering.
  • Popularizing knowledge of bionics and its relevant science and technology, spreads the spirit, idea and methods of the science, and extends bionic technology.
  • Holding international meetings in the field of bionic engineering.
  • Holding meetings of the Board of Directors.
  • Publishing Transactions of the Society.
  • Honoring and Encourages excellent scientists and technologists who make great progress in bionic research and spread activities, and recommend excellent talent.
  • Accepting opinions, suggestions and requests from the members, maintaining the legal rights of the members, and developing activities serving the members.
