The secretariat of ISBE was located in Jilin University and was formally established in the end of 2011. There are three members of the secretariat responsible for the daily affairs of the Society including member management, events organization, collaboration exploration and information service. In the June of 2020, the Beijing Secretariat and Weihai Secretariat were respectively established as the representative agencies of the ISBE.
