Bionics, which involves constructing artificial systems that mimic living organisms, is advancing the frontiers of biology and engineering. The creation of numerous biomimetic materials and devices is transforming the future of human life. As with the previous workshop series, the International Workshop on Bionic Engineering 2024  (IWBE 2024) will be jointly organized with the International Symposium on Nature-Inspired Technology 2024 (ISNIT 2024) on November 10-15 in Sydney, Australia. The workshop will offer a platform for bionic researchers around the world to share the latest achievements and exchange their ideas.

The host city, Sydney, is Australia’s largest city, and with its magnificent harbour and strategic position, is one of the most important ports in the South Pacific. Perched on gentle hills that cradle a vast harbor brimming with countless bays and inlets, the cityscape is crowned by the imposing Sydney Harbour Bridge and the iconic Opera House. To the west of the city center lies Darling Harbour, a modern precinct renowned for hosting conventions, major concerts, indoor sporting events, and political gatherings.
